The action will take place on our super cool jam strip, with 2 parkour spots (indoor & outdoor), a ninja area, some parkoury bouldering and a fat mat area for tricking (check out our Insta for a map). Besides the usual good jam vibes, we're planning a little spot tour on the grounds, 2 cool chill competitions and a "clothes pimping" workshop, so bring some old clothes you want to capture our epic event on your clothes (otherwise you can also buy something in our merch shop). Ten of the world's leading pioneers in creative movement will join together with four competitors who make it through the onsite qualification round to put on a show like never before. Expect the unexpected! The theme of the event will be ‘cosmic disco’ so we will be transforming the gym area into a theatre space, with galaxies, disco balls and all that jazz! There will be a total of 14 participants: 9 invited athletes, 4 from onsite qualifiers, 1 from online qualifiers. Online qualifier is happening now, you can still submit clips until April 1st!! TheSpot is de plek waar je kunt bewegen. Parkour, freerun, tricking, calisthenics allemaal urban sports die je hier kunt beoefenen. Het wordt een gezellige dag vol activiteiten. Er is ruimte om alle obstakels te testen. Er worden minilesjes gegeven (bv. hoe leer ik een backflip?). En onze atleten van Team ABC geven gedurende de dag demonstraties. Denk je, ‘dit is mij iets te actief’? Geen probleem. Geniet van een drankje en aanschouw wat de Groningse Urban Sport rijker is geworden. Heb je kinderen? Neem ze vooral mee. Bekijk eventThe RAD Jam is our first weekend long event to Fuse, Grow and Celebrate Communities. In collaboration with Sound Kendama, Radical and Die Halle we will be creating a weekend designed to bring together people from Parkour and Kendama and promote reflection on what it means to be 'A community' by doing what we do best, Jam. The RAD Jam will consist of: Day 1: A Large Community Spot Tour - share some of Hamburgs best PK and KDMA spots Workshops & Group Activities - Coaches from Die Halle and Players from Sound Kendama will be putting on Parkour and Kendama Workshops. Party Jam - Over 18 ab 19.30 We will be turning Die Halle into a Night Club with Djs and Jam together in the main Hall. Sleeping Spot - In the school next to the Gym there will be a designated spot to sleep in between Days. Day 2: Community Egg Game - To bring people from both communities together, we will be playing ‘The Egg Game’, a game with elements of Tag and Capture the Flag. It is a fun challenge for both people with and without experience. Parkour Community Skill & Style Comp - Prizes to Be Won Kendama Comp - Prizes to be Won Food: We will also be providing Dinner at the end of Day 1 and Breakfast in the morning of Day 2. It takes place in Austria's biggest Parkour & Freerunning Facility and includes Skills, Speed & Style Contest* of the ÖPFV - Österreichischer Parkour & Freerunning Verband (All on 25.02.) There will be youth male and female and adult male and female in all competition formats. On 26.02 it's full Jam action. While we provide logistics and the Hal 5 parkour gym as the arena for this event, the Sport Parkour League team will take care of the organisation of the competition itself. CATEGORIES MENS: Skill, Speed & Style WOMENS: Skill, Speed & Style Cash prizes for 1st place in each category. Amount tbd. The top third of competitors (up to 3 total) in each category will qualify for SPL2. For example: In a category with 9 or more people, the whole podium (1st, 2nd, 3rd) will qualify.
